Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Pigeon Forge – Choice of Dinner Show
Arrive in Pigeon Forge, TN and check into your hotel for a two night stay.
Tonight, you have your choice of dinner shows: Pirates Voyage Dinner Show or Hatfields & McCoys Dinner Show. (B,D)
Pirates Voyage Dinner Show – Celebrate the Pirate Spirit with fun and adventure at Dolly Parton’s Pirates Voyage Dinner Show. Before the show starts enjoy a fun, interactive experience in Pirates Village! Thar be a real pirate sing-a-long of all yer favorite seaside songs, amazing balancing acts, fantastic juggling, live animals, audience participation and much more. Ye won’t want to miss a moment; it’s all part of the fun of being a pirate!
Hatfields & McCoys Dinner Show – Tonight you have seats right in the middle of the Hatfield’s and McCoy’s Dinner Show – an evening of Feudin’ Feastin’ and Family Fun as these two families settle their differences mountain-style. Whether you’re city-folk or country cuzins, you’ll love the singing and dancing, mighty feats of strength, jaw dropping stunts and side-splitting comedy.
Day 2 – Smoky Mountains – Skyland Ranch – BBQ Lunch with Private Concert by Gary “Biscuit” Davis – Dollywood – Great Pumpkin LumiNights
After breakfast this morning, a local guide escorts you deep into Smoky Mountain National Park on a narrated sightseeing tour. Ridge upon ridge of forest straddles the border between North Carolina and Tennessee in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. World renowned for its diversity of plant and animal life, the beauty of its ancient mountains, and the quality of its remnants of Southern Appalachian mountain culture, this is America’s most visited national park.
Next, visit SkyLand Ranch when your journey to the top of SkyLand Ranch begins on the Horizon Skyride! Hop in the chairlift and enjoy a scenic ride to the top where you enjoy a BBQ Lunch and Special Private Concert and Q&A with 5-time National Champion Banjo Player Gary “Biscuit” Davis.
In addition to being the only 5-time National Banjo Champion, Biscuit has traveled the world performing with incredible artists, including one of the biggest names ever in music, Dolly Parton. Not only did Biscuit perform with Dolly, but he was also her band leader for many years and produced tracks for her on multiple albums. Biscuit is one of the most talented and entertaining individuals you will ever meet, as well as being an incredible storyteller. You will enjoy every second spent with Biscuit.
The rest of of the afternoon is spent at Dollywood Theme Park. Like its namesake Dolly Parton, it delivers great live entertainment on multiple stages. It is filled with craft shops where you’ll find live demonstrations by Master Craftsmen. Ride the train, see an American Eagle habitat, Roller Coasters and rides, a Dolly Museum and more.
Dollywood’s Harvest Festival presented by Humana is even more spectacular this season, with thousands of carved and illuminated jack-o-lanterns immersing families in fabulous fall fun. The largest addition ever made to Dollywood’s fall festival, Great Pumpkin LumiNights features artistic sculptures, whimsical scenes and delightful, family-friendly fun throughout Timber Canyon.
Great Pumpkin LumiNights also features new pumpkin-themed food options, entertainment and interactive opportunities for park guests to experience an exciting nightly finale during the best fall festival in the Smokies. Included with your visit to Dollywood is a meal voucher for dinner. (B,D)
