Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Pigeon Forge, TN – Dinner at Five Oaks Farmhouse Kitchen – Arrive in Pigeon Forge, TN and check into your local hotel for a three night stay. Tonight enjoy a delicious dinner at Five Oaks Farm Kitchen. When supper time rolls around Five Oaks Farm Kitchen has just what you are looking for with fresh greens, hearty soups, chicken and dumplings, and more! At Five Oaks Farm Kitchen they take great pride in serving fresh produce, quality beef, and local pork…real food. (D)
Day 2 – Day at Dollywood – Dinner at Applewood Farmhouse – Country Tonite – After breakfast, enjoy the day at Dollywood Theme Park, known for its world-class entertainment, amazing thrill rides, and family friendly adventure. At Dollywood you’ll enjoy live stage shows, the Dolly museum, real train rides, the American Eagle habitat, and for the very brave ride the Wild Eagle Coaster (along with many other rides the park has to offer). You’ll also enjoy watching Dollywood’s master craftsmen and artisans at work proudly continuing the centuries-old traditions of hand-making their arts & crafts with daily demonstrations. Dollywood offers you the chance to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Smoky Mountains and the incredible spirit of its people, all at a place fun for all ages. We invite you to taste award-winning recipes, experience heart-pounding thrills and witness incredible performances that are sure to become memories you’ll treasure always.
Dinner is included this evening at Applewood Farmhouse or Grill where all meals are served with their signature Applewood Julep, Apple Fritters and Homemade Apple Butter.
Following dinner enjoy a show at the Country Tonite Theater. In this fast-paced production, you will enjoy a variety of dynamic singing and dancing, side-splitting comedy, powerful gospel, and American patriotism. From the strong talent of the youth performers, to the experienced veterans of the Country Tonite stage and song, the love of God, family and country resonates throughout the show. (B,D)
Day 3 – Stages West – The Island – Ole Smoky Moonshine – Evening at Ole Red Restaurant – Start with a visit this morning to Stages West, a family-owned and operated store that is home to the largest, most unique selection of cowboy and cowgirl boots and western apparel.
Then enjoy some free time at nearby The Island, 23 acres of entertainment in an inviting setting perfect for groups trying to escape the everyday. With over 80 shops, restaurants and attractions, our location combines all things fun, in a safe environment where you can eat, shop and play. The Island’s diverse selection of activities makes it a one-stop-shop of fun for all ages. The Island Show Fountains are programmed to music and lights year round and you can purchase a ticket to ride “The Wheel” which is 200 feet tall. There truly is something for everyone to enjoy at The Island.
Next enjoy a tour & tasting at Ole Smoky Moonshine Museum & Distillery. As you approach the entrance, you can detect the distinct smell of their grains cooking and fermenting. You’ll see authentic working moonshine stills and experience the process from beginning to end. Their distillers will take the time to visit with you and answer any questions about the history and lore of moonshining in East Tennessee. Free tasting is offered. Samples of their Original Unaged Corn Whiskey, White Lightnin’ and Moonshine Cherries – plus they offer seasonal and special flavors that aren’t available in package stores.
End the day at Ole Red Restaurant in Gatlinburg. Country fans already know this place gets its name from superstar Blake Shelton’s breakout hit, “Ol’ Red.” Being here is a lot like hanging out with the guy himself: laid-back and genuine, up for anything, a bit irreverent (but always fun)—and set to great music. Ole Red has a little something for everyone in the heart of the Smokies!
You might just see country’s next rising stars performing on the state-of-the-art stage seven days a week. Day 4 – A Tribute To The Music of REBA – Depart for Home – Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, the see a performance A Tribute to the Music of REBA. Starring “Miss Patty,” this new show at the Red Skelton Tribute Theater features the greatest hits of Reba McEntire and the music of other great female superstars: Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Shania Twain, Karen Carpenter, and Anne Murray. “It’s A Hand Clappin’, Foot Stompin’, Butt Kickin’ Show!”
Depart for home after the show. (B)
