Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Pigeon Forge, TN – Indoor Snow Park – Hatfield & McCoys – Country Tonite
On arrival in the Smoky Mountains you spend the afternoon at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies in Gatlinburg, TN. It is literally teeming with life – over 10,000 exotic sea creatures in 350 individual species. There are more fish in this aquarium than there are people living in the entire town of Gatlinburg. Traveling on moving glide paths, visitors enter the ocean realm and come face to face with thousands of fascinating fishes and menacing sea creatures, everything from barracudas, to rays, to jellyfish, octopi, moray eels and giant sharks! Your visit will include a Penguin Encounter. Meet the Aquarium’s most adorable creatures Face-to-Beak! Interact with one of the playful penguins from the state-of-the-art indoor/outdoor habitat!
Then in Pigeon Forge, TN you check into the Country Cascades Waterpark Resort for a three night stay. County Cascades is Pigeon Forge’s Newest & Largest Waterpark Resort.
Then you have seats right in the middle of the Hatfield’s and McCoy’s Dinner Show – an evening of Feudin’ Feastin’ and Family Fun as these two families settle their differences mountain-style. Whether you’re city-folk or country cuzins, you’ll love the singing and dancing, mighty feats of strength, jaw dropping stunts and side-splitting comedy.
Following your dinner show, you head to Country Tonite Theatre where the spotlight is on entertainment! In this fast-paced production, you will enjoy a variety of dynamic singing and dancing, side-splitting comedy, powerful gospel, and American patriotism. From the strong talent of the youth performers, to the experienced veterans of the Country Tonite stage and song, the love of God, family and country resonates throughout the show. (Arrangements can be made here for Performances by Student Groups.)
Day 2 – Titanic Museum – Alcatraz East – Mini Golf – Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud
After breakfast, start at the Titanic Museum Attraction, a tribute to the ship and the 2,208 passengers and crew. First Class Maids and a variety of Officers and crew members bring the stories of the fabled ship and its fascinating passengers to life by retelling their stories in vivid, dramatic detail. The priceless artifacts throughout the museum shed additional light on the lives of those passengers and crew members when guests see the actual belongings of those on board and artifacts that sailed on Titanic’s maiden voyage. (Arrangements can be made here for Performances by Student Groups.)
Next, you head to WonderWorks where you experience an upside-down adventure. This once top-secret laboratory was located in the Bermuda triangle. Explore American history from a different perspective in five unique galleries that burrow deep into criminal profiles, the penal system, victim’s stories, crime prevention, forensic science, law enforcement and our justice system. The museum is 25,000 square feet, spread over 2 floors and includes over 100 interactive displays.
The afternoon features mini golf at Crave Golf Club, voted in the Top 13 “Best Mini Golf in America” by the Travel Channel. This unique candy themed mini golf attraction offers inside and outside courses.
Dinner this evening is at the Mellow Mushroom, an Out of This World Pizza Place. Following dinner you head to Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud & Adventure Park. See an authentic Lumberjack Competition between the feuding Dawson and McGraw families featuring 13 competitive lumberjack events including axe throwing, chopping, sawing, speed climbing and log rolling.
