Day 3 – Tuesday – Morning Worship with Music – Dolly’s Stampede Dinner Show
This morning again begins with an inspirational message by Pastor Charles Nelson. More music from “The Sound.” The Sound is a Christian band comprised of Gospel Music veteran Rob Mills and his two sons, Levi and Jacob. They’ve performed live for thousands and through social media thereby have entertained millions. They’re bold, fresh, excited, and talented. Above all else, they remain faithful to the cause of Christ. Just wait until you see them do “Hymns Thru the Decades.”
The morning also includes Comedian Taylor Mason, who will make you giggle and even laugh out LOUD, Dr. Herb Reavis with a Powerful Christmas Message and a performance by Jeff Stice, the 5 time Musician of the Year and Grammy Nominee, Four Time Dove Award Nominee, voted AGM Musician of the Year piano man. Followed by The Nelons. This Christmas Concert brings an outstanding blend of gospel, a cappella, folk, and inspirational music to the Ultimate Christmas Celebration stage. They are often seen on the Gaither Homecoming videos. They love Southern Gospel and you know the Nelon name enjoys a long history in Southern Gospel Music.
It is said that you cannot beat the close harmonies of a family and this group will prove this adage to be true. As they sing from the heart, they will leave you encouraged with a message of hope and warmed by the closeness of their family. You are sure to be blessed as they sing about the Peace of God that comes in the form of the baby Jesus.
You then have another afternoon break to explore the community before we gather again at Dolly’s Stampede Christmas Dinner Show. Snow falls softly as the breathtaking scenes fill you with tidings of good cheer. The Stampede arena is magically transformed into a true fantasy land complete with twinkling lights, evergreens, poinsettias, old-fashioned holiday costumes and familiar holiday music. You will also love the live nativity; it is both dramatic and spectacular. The true meaning of Christmas comes alive right before your very eyes as three kings ride atop camels on their way to Bethlehem. The stunning beauty of angels ascending from above will amaze you as the songs inspire audience members of all ages. (B,D)
