Itinerary
Day 1 – Pigeon Forge, TN – Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud
Arrive today in Pigeon Forge, TN where you enjoy a two-night stay. Tonight, you have seats right in the middle of the Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Show – an evening of Feudin’ Feastin’ and Family Fun as these two families settle their differences mountain-style. Whether your city-folk or country cuzins, you’ll love the singing and dancing, mighty feats of strength, jaw dropping stunts and side-splitting comedy. (B)
Day 2 – Smoky Mountain Troubadour Tour w/lunch – Sugarland Cellars Tour & Tasting – Afternoon at Anakeesta – Dolly’s Stampede Dinner Show
This morning, enjoy a Smoky Mountain Troubadour Tour. On this tour, climb high into Smoky Mountain National Park where you get close to nature, enjoy the scenery and share a few songs with your musician singer. This tour offers an amazing variety of old-time music, mountain humor and the best views in the Great Smoky Mountains! A boxed lunch will be included today with your tour.
Next, visit the Sugarland Cellars for a tour and tasting. Each of their wines has a name associated with an important historical figure, key location, or other fact about the surrounding area. Popular offerings include a loganberry wine called Elkmont, a 100% Cherry wine called Cherry-Kee, and more traditional offerings such as Pinot Noir and Malbec. Enjoy a tasting of these wines and many more at the unique tasting bar, which is nearly in the center of the winemaking area! Friendly tour guides will take you through the cellar, with a brief introduction to the world of winemaking, and help to answer any questions you might have about the Gatlinburg area.
The afternoon features a visit to Anakeesta Mountaintop Adventure Park. You enter the park riding a chairlift, gondola, or their Ridge Rambler Trucks 600 feet up to the summit of Anakeesta Mountain and the Firefly Village. Strolling across this whimsical mountaintop, you will discover quaint shopping, sweet treats and slow-smoked southern barbeque all with scenic views of Downtown Gatlinburg. Enjoy live music, quick bites, outdoor seating and an elevated dining experience at Cliff Top in Black Bear Village.
The adventurous will enjoy the 16-bridge Treetop Skywalk, or will want to climb Anavista Tower for 360⁰ views from downtown Gatlinburg’s highest point. You will also find meandering pathways in the multi-sensory Vista Gardens featuring music and scenic overlooks.
End the day with Dolly Parton’s Stampede Dinner Show. The show is filled with a friendly North and South competition, thrilling horse riding stunts, spectacular special effects, phenomenal musical productions plus a mouth-watering four-course feast complete with a delicious dessert! Also, Stampede’s SKEETER & NUGGET™ show delivers a huge helping of family-friendly comedy at every show! As Dolly says “It’s the most fun place to eat in the Smokies.” (B,L,D)
