Day By Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Thursday – The Ark Encounter – Georgetown, KY – Arrive by 1:00pm this afternoon in Williamstown, KY to visit the Ark Encounter offering an experience like no other. From the moment you turn the corner and the towering Ark comes into view, to the friendly animals in the petting zoo, to the jaw-dropping exhibits inside the Ark, you’ll experience the pages of the Bible like never before.
This marvel of engineering is seven stories tall and is a football field and a half long. It is the largest timber frame structure in the world. Get ready to experience close-up encounters with stunning animals, some life-like recreations from Noah’s day and many living-and-breathing animals from today.
Dinner will be included this evening at Emzara’s Restaurant. Continue travel this evening to Lexington, KY for a night at a local hotel. (D)
Day 2 – Friday – Pigeon Forge – NQC Spring Break – Today, you travel to Pigeon Forge, TN and check into your local hotel for the night. Enjoy an early dinner this evening at a local area restaurant.
Following dinner, head to the LeConte Center for the NQC Spring Break. The National Quartet Convention will be producing its annual Spring Break event, featuring many of your favorite artists. Performances start at 6:00pm this evening. (Doors open at 4:00pm). This evening’s Gospel Showcase which includes: Joseph Habedank, Tribute Qt, Brian Free & Assurance, Jim & Melissa Brady, Kingsmen
After returning to the hotel, enjoy an evening reception of “Milk & Cookies” before retiring to your rooms. (B,D)
Day 3 – Depart – Start your day with the hotel’s delicious Deluxe Mountain Breakfast served in Grandma’s Kitchen (on site). After breakfast you depart for home. (B)
